Sign our Petition calling for a Drug Royal Commission

We call on the Parliament to establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry into:

The health, social, economic, and law enforcement costs of the Drug Prohibition.

The laws do not stop people from using drugs or protect families. After 50 years of harsh enforcement, illicit drugs are more available than ever.

Will you help us convince the government that the war on drug users does more harm than good?

  • More people need to see this and sign the petition. I haven’t seen it around any social media sites. I won’t go and share anything incase it’s not appropriate, hopefully the organisers can get the word out more.
  • With so many limited recourses for safe drug use, more and more everyday Australians are struggling and yet it’s constantly being ignored. safe drug use saves lives
  • Australia’s Drug Laws are archaic, outdated laws. More information about changing the perception of all users and non users is so very needed to to stop the inhumane treatment of drug dependent people and there own lateral violence towards each other. Judgement, shame and guilt is not healthy.

    Australians need education, understanding and a government that’s committed to drug policy reform.

    Mentally, financially and socially these policies have hurt, hindered and haunted me.
  • My brother died because of the war on drugs. People will take drugs no matter the legal status, and legalisation will ensure that people are kept safe from adulterants, and can take controlled doses of substances. I want my kids to be safe when they get to an age where they will be exposed to recreational drugs.
  • Thank you for sharing the message. I am working with Fusion and before that the Pirate Party on this issue. Substances like Cannabis, MDMA, Psilocybin as well as e-Cigarettes (Vaping) are being made technically legal, but the barrier to entry is so high that the old problems still persist. I would love to collab with you.

  • I am a recovering drug addict from methamphetamine and GHB, I have made a donation, I am now signing the petition and I talk to as many close family members and friends about the benefits of decriminalisation of all drugs.


    How else can I get onboard more so with you guys to decriminalise drugs and make our streets safer.
